Marleen vit en Belgique, en Flandre. Après avoir suivi des ateliers et des masterclass sur la céramique, elle a ouvert son propre atelier et fait beaucoup de poterie. Après avoir étudié la sculpture à l’académie des beaux-arts de Hoogstraten (Anvers), elle a commencé à faire des sculptures en argile et en bronze d’êtres humains, principalement en relation les uns avec les autres. Chacun a sa propre histoire et peut se reconnaître dans une sculpture de Marleen.

Marleen lives in Belgium, Flanders. After taking some workshops and masterclasses about ceramics, she started her own studio and made lots of pottery. After studying sculpture at the academy of Art in Hoogstraten (Antwerp), she began making sculptures in clay and bronze of human beings, mostly in relation with each other. Everybody has their own story and can recognize themselves in a sculpture of Marleen.
